Meet the Artist in the Speakeasy Series

Join us for our new event, “Meet the Artist” in the Speakeasy - a cozy, informal evening of conversation, creativity, and community.

Meet May’s featured artist, Lisa Harpster, whose work explores the connection between memory, material, and the emotional atmosphere of the spaces we live in.

Working with reclaimed and recycled materials, she transforms everyday objects into sculptural forms that carry personal and collective stories. Through projects like her Memory Bowls, as well as paintings and mixed-media works, she examines how objects can hold history, identity, and meaning.

Her practice draws from an ongoing exploration of biology, behavior, and creative expression, focusing on how our environments shape our experience and well-being. Check her out at lisaharpster.com beforehand!

Grab a drink, settle in by the fire, and hear Lisa talk about her work in a calm, conversational setting. Guests will also have the chance to view and purchase artwork (Venmo or cash).
